Day 1 –  Meeting place at Fukuoka

Our tour guides will hold a brief meeting the day before our departure to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable tour in Japan. They will thoroughly explain Japan’s riding rules and your tour itinerary.

After the said meeting, we are now ready for a joyride. The destination will be Fukuoka City to Nagasaki. We’ll have a terrific day riding winding mountain routes and lovely seaside rides all the way to Sasebo. Sasebo, the second biggest city in Nagasaki prefecture, is rich in Dutch influences due to its past as an international port. The Huis Ten Bosch Park, a vivid mix of Japanese and Dutch culture, is a symbol of this specific past. Returning to the coast, we will have another beautiful trip all the way to Nagasaki, where we will savor the excellent food and the touching tales that this city has to offer.

Day 2 – Kumamoto Castle

The day will begin in grand style, with a boat ride from Nagasaki to Kumamoto port. We will next go on an unforgettable tour to Kumamoto Castle. It is a hilltop castle (layout: Teikakushiki) and is located in Kumamoto Prefecture. It was located within the limits of Higo Province during the pre-modern period. It has the same sense of size as Osaka Castle and the winding and turning maze-like walls of Himeji Castle. Kumamoto Castle is now undergoing extensive renovation, yet it still evokes awe. It is regarded as one of the most impressive architectural monuments in the country, as well as a famous cherry blossom viewing location during the spring season. We will then continue with some excellent mountain riding in the Kumamoto area, taking advantage of the winding roads. Finally, we will arrive at our hotel in Kirishima to enjoy the area’s soothing hot spring water and tasty local cuisine.

Day 3 – Visiting the most popular sake in Japan

Another excellent start to the day: a visit to the Kirishima Sake Brewing Factory, the birthplace of Kirishima Shuzo Japanese Sake, one of the country’s most popular beverages. This site, the birthplace of Kirishima Shuzo, is available to the public and is regarded as “a garden park where industrial, cultural, and interaction facilities blend.” They have a variety of development amenities, such as a brewery for authentic shochu and craft beer, cultural facilities, event facilities, and restaurant facilities. amenities, event facilities, and restaurant facilities Then we’ll have a fantastic seafood meal.

We will next ride straight to Cape Ito, Japan’s southernmost point, before returning on the day’s last coast ride all the way to Miyazaki city to see the famed Aoshima Shrine on the homonym island, with its breathtaking view of bedrock carved by the ocean’s waves. We’ll then head to the hotel for some downtime and a delicious supper.

Day 4 – Volcanic Gorge

This day will be dedicated entirely to mountain biking. We’ll arrive at Nishimera village after some breathtaking mountain roads to learn about the local culture. We will then travel to the Takachiho Gorge, a 1 km long volcanic gorge in Miyazaki Prefecture that is one of the most fascinating places in the Kyushu region. This valley, formed 100,000 years ago by Mount Aso eruption, features multiple waterfalls that may be seen from several vantage decks around the region.

Another mountain ride will take us to our hotel on the enormous Mount Aso, where we will rest and enjoy the area’s beautiful views.

Day 5 – Kuju “Dream” to Ocean Hell

After a magnificent mountain ride on Mount Aso, we will arrive at the island’s north shore, where we will face a major challenge: the Kuju “Dream” enormous suspension bridge. It is regarded as Japan’s tallest pedestrian bridge, with a height of 173 meters above the water’s surface and a length of 390 meters. From here, we shall experience the breathtaking splendor of the Shindo Waterfalls, which are ranked among the top 100 in the country.

When we get to the shore, we will go to the Nakatsu Castle, a castle in the sea that was formerly home to the famous leader Toyotomi Hideyoshi. We will conclude the day in our hot spring resort in Beppu, one of Japan’s three most famous hot spring resorts, to experience how soothing some of Japan’s most popular hot spring waters are.

Day 6 – Yufuin Tour

The final day will begin at Beppu, one of Japan’s three most famous hot spring resorts, which is the hottest spring water generating region in the country. The “Hells,” seven hot springs so beautiful and strong that they became a tourism destination without bathing, are a must-see in the city. We will then travel to Yufuin, another hot spring site rich in traditional Japanese hot spring resorts. Nearby is Lake Kinrinko, a tiny lake surrounded by an interesting mixed environment of modest shrines and public bath houses that exploit the area’s hot spring water.

Day 7 – Last ride
After one more trip into the highlands, we’ll return to Fukuoka for one farewell last meal before embarking on the next Japanese adventure. The tour is over, but the memories will live on. Thank you for entrusting your Japan Tour to us.
