Tour start and end place is Fukuoka

Day 1 – Welcome to Fukuoka, Nagasaki (Overnight stay at Yufuin)

Our team will meet you at  Fukuoka International Airport once you arrive.

And then there will be a brief explanation of the whole trip. After that, our team will take you to the most well-known town. It has an excellent picturesque rural onsen resort town. The ryokans in Yufuin are more spacious and beautiful. Many couples in Japan head to Yufuin for anniversaries or even honeymoons. You will have an overnight stay at Yamanohotel Musouen. It is famous for gigantic outdoor baths with incredible views. Your stay is featured with the most beautiful rotenburo (outdoor), especially the woman’s bath where bathers can enjoy the breathtaking Mt Yufu view.

Day 2 – The steamy City of Beppu

After complimentary breakfast, ready yourself for another whole-day tour in Beppu.

A quick drive from Yufuin to Beppu, which only takes 22 minutes to get there.

Exploring the town streets, fascinating the bygone-era Japanese boutiques, and even enjoy some exquisitely handcrafted dolls. It’s also best to try their Yakisoba for lunch. And the most exciting part, exploring the Hells of Beppu. The hot spring is a nationally designated “Place of Scenic Beauty” in the onsen town of Beppu, Ōita, Japan. The “hells” are for viewing rather than bathing. As for dinner, you’ll have the freshest seafood ever.

A quick tour of Kifune Castle. It is a must-visit place.

Day 3 – Takachiho Gorge

The next stop will be Takachiho Gorge which has a very interesting history and is a breathtaking little paradise. It is a river canyon with waterfalls over sheer basalt cliffs, viewable from rented boats & a paved path. Our team will rent a boat for the best experience. Don’t forget to bring your camera with you to imprint these memories forever.

One of the most famous stories in Japanese mythology about the origin of Japan is said to have taken place in Takachiho. The story goes that the sun goddess, Amaterasu, hid in a cave in Takachiho to escape her brother’s cruel rampage, depriving the world of light.

After that will be the Takachiho Shrine. A sacred shrine that keeps the myth alive through dance. And shabu-shabu will be for dinner.

Day 4 – Mount Aso Tour

After complimentary breakfast, we’ll go on and explore Mount Aso Caldera. Within the huge caldera lies a chain of volcanoes and the only active volcano in Japan where you have the chance to visit an active crater and look inside. It is a spectacular day excursion to the summit of Japan’s tallest volcano and the most stunning vistas in the Aso caldera. From the lovely and lonely Minami Aso area to the stunning views from the northern caldera rim and up to the heights of Mount Aso, where you can peek directly into the heart of the living, breathing Nakadake volcano, there is something for everyone.

Day 5 – Overnight in Nagasaki

You’ll first visit the Atomic Bomb Museum and Nagasaki Peace Park to relive history. Viewing this museum, and seeing genuine bombing debris will give you a much better perspective of what happened. It gave a human face to the catastrophe. You don’t leave this museum feeling particularly uplifted, but you can’t visit Nagasaki without spending a few hours here.

As for lunch, it is really recommended to try out Yossou, which has been open since 1866, and is credited as being Japan’s first chawanmushi specialty restaurant. They’re also known for their braised pig belly and shippoku, which are banquet-style meals with Japanese, Chinese, and Western cuisine served on a round table.

Next, we’ll be at the Glover Garden, it’s a renowned tourist destination in Nagasaki and an open-air museum. It was the former residence of Thomas Blake Glover, a Scottish trader who was instrumental in Japan’s industrialization. The former Glover Residence, the country’s oldest surviving Western-style house, is set on a hill with magnificently designed gardens overlooking Nagasaki Harbor.

Night viewing at Nagasaki. On the western edge of Nagasaki City, there is a small mountain called Mount Inasa (Inasayama). One of the top three night vistas in Japan is available here, and it’s totally free. A picturesque ropeway connects Mount Inasa with Nagasaki’s central business district.

Day 6- Strolling in Fukuoka City

Lazy morning late check-out after complimentary breakfast. Stroll and look for some paint and pottery studios. Next stop will be Sake Brewery Tourism Hizennya. You may take in not just a fascinating tour of the brewery, but also the beauty of the neighboring neighborhood. You can sample as many various types of beverages as you want here, from the famed Hizenhamashuku junmai daiginjo sake to the delectable sweet fruit vinegars. You can take a bottle or two of your favorites home with you right here! Enjoy the flavors of this quaint tiny town as well as the wonderful retro flair of the building’s interior decor. Above all, Mr. Minematsu, the brewery’s proprietor, wants to create a location where you can have fun and leave feeling glad you came.
