6 DAYS KYUSHU AUTUMN TOUR

Tour Duration: 6 days

Price : 550,000yen/person

Tour start and end place is Fukuoka

Day 1 – Welcome to Fukuoka, Nagasaki

Your representative will meet you at the Fukuoka International Airport once you arrive.

Following a brief introduction of the tour, your private vehicle-based bespoke tour will begin. The plan for the day will be an overnight stay in Beppu, Kyushu’s favorite hot-spring town. It produces more hot spring water than any other resort in the country. Beppu offers an unmatched range of baths to be enjoyed, including ordinary hot water baths, mud baths, sand baths, and steam baths. And as for dinner, we’ll try their best seafood in town.

Day 2 – Tour at Mt. Aso

We’ll explore Mount Aso Caldera after a complimentary breakfast. Within the massive caldera is a chain of volcanoes, including Japan’s only active volcano, where you can visit an active crater and look inside. It’s a spectacular day trip to the summit of Japan’s tallest volcano and some of the most breathtaking views in the Aso caldera. There is something for everyone, from the lovely and lonely Minami Aso area to the stunning views from the northern caldera rim and up to the heights of Mount Aso, where you can peer directly into the heart of the living, breathing Nakadake volcano.

Day 3 – Takachiho tour

The next stop will be Takachiho Gorge which has a very interesting history and is a breathtaking little paradise. It is a river canyon with waterfalls over sheer basalt cliffs, viewable from rented boats & a paved path. Our team will rent a boat for the best experience. Don’t forget to bring your camera with you to imprint these memories forever.

Amano Iwato Shrine, one of Takachiho’s powerful power spots, is the location of a well-known Japanese mythology legend: the story of the Shinto sun goddess Amaterasu’s self-imposed exile in a cave, depriving heaven and earth of all light, and her fellow deities’ attempts to persuade her to leave. The site is located 10 kilometers outside of town and can be reached by foot by descending into one of the region’s deep, verdant gorges.

Day 4 –  Strolling old towns

In the morning, we’ll go for a walk through Hita’s old district, including a stop at the Gion Yamahoko Kaikan, which displays festival floats from the local festival. Onta, a small pottery village, is next on the itinerary. It’s fascinating to walk around the village because they still use antique machinery to make materials for their pottery. If you are interested, you can visit some of the kilns and, of course, purchase their products. Foodventure will be Kaiseki-ryōri and some Seasonal countryside.

Day 5 –  Fukuoka City

Lazy morning late check-out after complimentary breakfast. Stroll and look for some paint and pottery studios. Next stop will be Sake Brewery Tourism Hizennya. You may take in not just a fascinating tour of the brewery, but also the beauty of the neighboring neighborhood. You can sample as many various types of beverages as you want here, from the famed Hizenhamashuku junmai daiginjo sake to the delectable sweet fruit vinegar. You can take a bottle or two of your favorites home with you right here! Enjoy the flavors of this quaint tiny town as well as the wonderful retro flair of the building’s interior decor. Above all, Mr. Minematsu, the brewery’s proprietor, wants to create a location where you can have fun.

Day 6 – End of tour

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out. The tour is over, but the memories will live on. Thank you for entrusting your Japan Autumn Tour to us.
