Tour start and end place is Fukuoka
Day 1- Meeting place at Fukuoka City
The meeting place is in Fukuoka City. Right after the arrival, we’ll go straight to Yufu and check in at their best onsen. After checking in and putting off the luggage at Yufuin Soan Kosumosu, our team will accompany you to go for a walk to enjoy some sweet shops, a variety of goods shops and cafes, ‘Kinrin-ko’, and museums. You may think that it is just a small town but it has a lot to offer and still can enjoy it with some various outdoor activities.
You can see Mt. Yufu anywhere in town even if you’re in Yufuin Floral Village.
We will make sure that you’ll have a splendid stay in Yufu town. Aside from the floral village, might as well enjoy the calming and warm atmosphere in Kinrin Lake.
Day 2 – Beautiful landscapes of Aso and Nakadake(Minamioguni)
After your complimentary breakfast, we’ll go straight ahead to see some breathtaking landscapes of Minamioguni. After checking in at Kurokawa Onsen Oyado Noshiyu (the best onsen), our team will lead you sightseeing at Mt. Aso. It is the largest active volcano in Japan and is among the largest in the world.
The next stop will be at Mt. Aso Nakadake 1st crater.
Day 3- Steam rising from a hot spring (Unzen)
From Kurokawa, we will take you to Kumamoto to see its beautiful castle and enjoy fresh basashi (horse meat) which is famous in Kumamoto.
After a couple of hours, we’ll proceed and take a ferry to Unzen City. Check-in at Unzen onsen, it is a hot spring resort town near the peak of Mount Unzen. You can enjoy the gorgeous panorama below the gondola lift, which includes Kyushu azalea in spring, fresh greenery in summer, autumn foliage in autumn, and rime ice in winter. Feel the earth’s blessings by the fragrance of sulfur and steams at Unzen Jigoku.
Day 4- Strolling from Nagasaki to Fukuoka City
On the road to Fukuoka, stop in Nagasaki-shi and enjoy sightseeing; Nagasaki’s specialty such Champon at Chinatown, cruise to ‘Gunkan-jima’ and visit ‘Oura Cathedral’ declared world heritage listings and ‘Glover Garden’ with a view of the sea. Walking around Nagasaki gives you a different feeling than walking around other Japanese cities since Nagasaki has been trading with foreign countries for a longer time than other places. Return to Fukuoka and enjoy yatai booths and shopping.
(The beauty of Glover Garden has a stunning view of Nagasaki Harbor from its position on top of the hill of Minami-Yamate, this romantic area retains the atmosphere of a foreign settlement.)
