Day 1
Arrival in Fukuoka
Arrive at Fukuoka Airport. Your local guide will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. Take time to freshen up and enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure.
Day 2
Explore the Bustling Fukuoka
Start the day with trip to the biggest and busiest city in Kyushu. The beautiful city of Fukuoka has lots to offer from temples and shrines to beautiful parks to delightful Japanese dishes. First, drop by the celebrated Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. One of the most important shrines throughout Japan, Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is popular among students to pray for good results during an examination. Then, cruise through the famous Yanagawa River and take in the tranquil atmosphere as you get a glimpse into the traditional Japanese culture. Go shopping at the popular Canal City Hakata shopping complex before heading to the ruins of Fukuoka Castle to learn more about history and the lovely Ohori Park to enjoy a leisure walk around the scenic park. You will also visit the most famous handmade doll shop in Hakata and get an opportunity to paint the doll yourself as a souvenir.
Day 14
Depart from Fukuoka
Check out from the hotel after breakfast. With the help of the local guide, transfer to Fukuoka Airport for your journey back home.
